General requirements for Tekla models for uploading to the Bimar System

These requirements must be met so that models can be loaded into the Bimar system without errors.

General requirements for Tekla Structures models:

  • The model should not contain errors, bugs, etc. Use the Diagnostic and Troubleshooting tool
  • All elements in the model must have an error-free profile.

  • All objects that are interconnected must be connected by welding or bolts. If mounting welding is used, it must also be performed in the model.
  • When loading the model, no slag or other debris parts should enter the filter or selection.
  • The project grids must be present in the model
  • The model must be numbered before unloading
  • The model should not contain duplicate geometries or elements in each other.
  • The license must be able to edit the project when opening the project (the “Project Observer” license is not suitable)
